Isaak Olson

Isaak Olson (Lighting Designer) is a local lighting designer, programmer, and technician. They received a BFA from Boston University in Lighting Design, and currently act as Assistant Lighting Director for the Boston Ballet. You may have seen their work in "The Piano Lesson" with Actors Shakespeare Project, "Crowns" with Moonbox Productions, or "A Wrinkle in Time" with Wheelock Family Theatre. Educational theatre has always been a personal mission for Isaak, and they have mentored students at Northeastern University, Brighter Boston, and Wilmington Public Schools. You can also often find them programming lights for companies like Arrow Street Arts, Midwinter Revels, or Boston Lyric Opera. They are excited to be back in the BCA Blackbox for "The Wolves", where they had their professional debut in "John Deserves to Die" with Fresh Ink Theatre.
